On Sunday Rosycakes and 150 of Pat's closest friends and family celebrated her 80th birthday! We wanted to give this truly selfless mother of eight children a buffet fit for a queen. We baked up full spread of sweetness! With this beautiful season as an inspiration, we chose a palette of gold, sage, subtle orange, gingerbread brown, and ivory. Lemon-filled classic white mini cupcakes and our new gluten free carrot mini cupcakes were served. Also, guests chose from pumpkin macarons, lightly iced gingerbread cookies, vanilla petit fours, lemon tartlets, chocolate salted caramel shortbread bites, pumpkin crumble bites, iced chocolate brownie bites, "blondies," banana bread, and decorated sugar cookies. Yum!
